International Medical Health Organization (IMHO) is a US based charity made up of health care and non-medical volunteers from 20 states. Our projects focus on improving the health and welfare of the people living in the war-torn areas of Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka is an island in the Indian Ocean about 20 miles south of the tip of India. It has faced more than 20 years of civil war, which has taken its toll on the healthcare infrastructure of the North-East of Sri Lanka. A peace agreement was signed between conflicting parties and we felt that it was time that we form a medical health organization in USA to help our brothers and sisters back home. more
